From photographer, Ze Liang Photography, “Patrick and Roger met online and surprisingly, they worked in the office buildings right next to each other. They would hang out during their lunch breaks every day by the waterfront near their offices. In fact, they chose that as their location for their engagement session and it was definitely a special place for them. They now work together at a university – Patrick is a professor and Roger is the dean of the department, and I can see how happy they are to be able to spend more time together.
The wedding was intimate, with about 20 guests, mostly immediate family and friends. The ceremony was at a church a block away from where they live and the reception was at their house near the Boston Common.
To me, they were the perfect client because they’re two of the things I love most about couples – same-sex and interracial. Roger is Taiwanese. It once again reminded me of how far we’ve come and I feel incredibly lucky to be living in such a liberal state – Massachusetts.”
